Virgo Bash was created to honor the life and legacy of Darline "Ski" Bartee, a woman who believed every occasion was worth celebrating. Whether it was a birthday, a holiday, a good report card, or simply a beautiful sunny day, she found a reason to bring family and friends together. After her passing, her children, brothers, and family members wanted to continue that spirit in a way that everyone could enjoy, and Virgo Bash was born.

Today, Virgo Bash has grown into an annual celebration that honors our Virgo family members, celebrates life, and keeps our family traditions alive. What started as a way to pay homage to our mother has become one of the most anticipated gatherings of the year for family, friends, and the community.

September is also Leukemia Awareness Month, represented by the color orange. Virgo Bash proudly recognizes this cause in honor of our beloved sister and friend, Tiffany, whose life was impacted by leukemia. Through laughter, fellowship, and celebration, we remember Tiffany and all those affected by leukemia while raising awareness and keeping their memories alive.
